November 2011 - Another year without a Lost Time Injury (LTI)
REDS are pleased to announce another successful year of opertians without accidaent or lost time injury. The works completed have included divng, roped access and confined space operations throughout our range of market sectors including Offshore Renewables, Nucelar Energy, Hydro Power and civil diving operations throughtout the UK.
November 2011 - SSE Extend Access Engineering Contract
REDS are please to announce the extension of our Rope Access Operations framework with SSE Hydro (Scottish and Southern Energy), for another 12 months. The Rope Access frameowrk runs alongside the pre-exisitng framework agreement between REDS and SSE for the supply of diving operations in support of SSE’s fleet of Hydro Power Stations throught the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
October 2011 – Outage Completions
REDS are pleased to announce the successful closeout of all diving and access engineering services on-behalf of EDF Energy at Sizewell B and Heysham 2 Nuclear Power Stations. The works included diving both onshore and offshore, rope access support, and 24/7 emergency callout diving support to the contam area.
September 2011 – REDS New Accreditations
REDS Baord of Directors would like to thank and congratulate the REDS management team and personnel for gaining accrediation to ISO14001 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety), as well as continuing our accreditation to ISO 9001. This was a great team effort and repays the hardwork and commeitment shown by all.
September 2011 – Operations Director or Marathon Man
REDS would like to congratulate Operations Director – Paul Barsby for succesflly completing the Birmignham half marathon in a very respectable time of 1hour 47mins. Paul was running for charity on behalf of Edwards Trust http://www.edwardstrust.org.uk/
